The company’s stock was upgraded by investment analysts at Sanford C. Bernstein from Underperform to a Market perform, which caused a boost to the share price. Earlier, analysts at HSBC decided to downgrade the company to Underweight, as Goldman Sachs keeps its Sell rating on its stock. Alcatel-Lucent last issued its quarterly earnings data on February 7, reporting a loss of 70 cents per share for the quarter, missing the consensus estimate of a profit of 2 cents per share.
JDS Uniphase Corporation (NASDAQ:JDSU): Current Price: $13.97
The company introduced its Small-Cell Assurance Solution, which is a portfolio that has been designed to perform critical testing, monitoring, and optimization for small-cell networks. Small cells are generally used by network providers to scale networks and improve bandwidth and speed for mobile users. JDSU’s SCAS has been designed to assist in overcoming the unique and complex testing and visibility challenges created by small cell environments.
Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR): Current Price: $20.13
RSA is the security division of EMC (NYSE:EMC) and Juniper Networks, and has announced its intent to expand its technology partnership that is designed to assist customers in halting the wave of advanced threats that target their networks and securely enable mobile access to applications for more productivity. Also, RSA and Juniper have plans to build on a previous agreement that was announced in 2012 to help enable mobile security services to team strong authentication with secure remote access in order to extend the security model and streamline the mobile user experience.
Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ:CLWR): Current Price: $3.15
The company announced that CLEAR Professional, which is a 4G wireless broadband service for small and mid-sized businesses, and enterprise branch locations. CLEAR Professional runs on Clearwire’s 4G network in about 80 cities spanning the U.S., and will be available starting March 18. It will include three types of plans that are designed to meet the different needs of businesses.
